Hollywood Desk: The world's most respected 'Cannes Film Festival' is in the ears of France.  American singer and actress Selena Gomez debuted the red carpet at the 72nd 'Cannes Film Festival' this year.  Selena's 'The Dead Do not Die' is a partisetting film of the Cannes Film Festival.  During the screening, Selena also posed with the film's cast.  Selena Gomez wore a brand 'Louis Vuitton' brand.  Selena Gomez wore the 'Louis Vuitton' dress for the second look for dinner.  Cannes Film Festival is held every year to celebrate the best cinema of the whole world.  The film festival has started in France from May 14 and will end on May 25.

 Selena Gomez and Adam Driver starrer 'The Dead Do not Die' have received many nominations in the 'Cannes Film Festival'.  It includes the other nominations, including the Cannes Best Actress Award, the Ear Best Actor Award, the Ear Best Director Award, the Cannes Film Festival Award for Best Screenplay.

 Ears: The ear film festival, which began in 1946, has completed 72 years of this year.  This time the Cannes Film Festival will start from May 14 and run till May 25.  There will be a competition between 21 films from around the world.  Filmmakers' contenders are increasing every year with Bollywood celebs amidst the world's best films and the collection of stars.  However, for the first time in nine years, one Indian film has not been selected for any category of the Cannes Film Festival.

 Apart from Indian Pavilion, this time many Bollywood actress will take part in the Cannes Film Festival for the promotion of fashion brands.  These include Aishwarya Rai, Deepika Padukone, Sonam Kapoor, Kangana Rautaut, Huma Quraishi.  So TV actress Hina Khan is going to debut on the red carpet.  Deepika on May 16, Aishwarya Rai is likely to come on May 19.  Sonam Kapoor will be on May 20-21.  Huma will also take part in the 1972 Cannes Film Festival.

 2. Not a single Indian movie.

 None of the Indian films have been found in the category of 'Cannes Film Festival', 'Palme d'Or', 'Untitled Rigard', 'Camera Di Or', 'Short Film'.  This is the first time in 9 years that there will be Bollywood celebs on the red carpet but there is no Indian film in the competition.  However, Satyajit Ray's Film and Television Institute will maintain the presence of India's short film, Indian American Chef Vikas Khanna's 'The Last Color' of Kolkata's three students.  Nagpuri film 'Fulmania' and 'Lohardaga' will be screened on May 15 at the Cannes Film Festival.

 3. 53 Films will be displayed

 The festival will begin on 14th May with the American zombie comedy film The Debt Does not Die.  The film's director is Jim Jermousch.  The premiere of the French comedy "The Special" will be held on May 25, the last day.  This film is directed by Olivier Nekse and Eric Toledano.  This time the competition will be held between 21 films.  Which includes 18 films 'Unstarteen' category and 14 short films.

 4. Officials of the Cannes Film Festival

 This year's official awards are also special in the Cannes Film Festival.  'Palm d'Or Award' will be given to French actor Alan Dahlen.  American filmmaker John Carpenter will be given the 'Directors' Fortune Award' of the Independent Award category.  The French cinematographer Bruno DelBonal has been selected for the award for "Pierre Engex Excellence in Cinematography".

 5. The Cannes Film Festival is being held for five consecutive years

 Indian-origin filmmaker from Celebrity Chef, Vikas Khanna will also be seen on the red carpet on the first day of the Cannes Film Festival.  Development will take part in the continuous Cannes Film Festival since 2015.  It will take a master class on the subject 'Life Through a Different Lens' with Oscar Winner Jules Moor.  The film 'The Last Color' will be screened as director of development at the Cannes Film Festival.  Which will be held on May 16 in 'Merke Doo movie section'.
